Bumped up the score a bit for the perfect final ten minutes but this is pretty disappointing for the most part, said as a big fan of both Todd Haynes and lesbian romance in general. There's the lack of chemistry between the leads, the boring plot and cliché antagonist husband which puts too heavy an emphasis on the mind-numbing details of their custody battle, Carter Burwell's sappy yawner of a score.
Can't believe this is the same guy who made "Safe".
