Carol is a beautiful film is every aspect. This film is the equivalent of cinematic perfection in every way. I absolutely loved Todd Haynes' direction. He films this story with such beauty. It is amazing.
There are two brilliant performances in this film. Cate Blanchett shines in the title role. But my favorite performance is from Rooney Mara. Her performance is pure excellence. I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two performers.
The supporting cast is also good as well. I absolutely loved the score to this film. It is my favorite aspect of the film. It fits every scene perfectly. The story at the heart of this film is every great as well.
I loved the final few moments of the film. This film surpassed every one of my expectations. This is definitely one of the best films from 2015.
