Review of Carol (1990) by Andrea V — 19 Feb 2016
I hated this movie! I thought Cate's character was predatory. She groomed Rooney then pounced. Neither character was very fleshed out. Cate seemed perfectly content at the end to have her apartment in the city, no child to mess up her plans.
Cate is beautiful, but did we have to have 1 1/2 hours of close ups. And the music was totally tepid. Hated hated it.
