Review of Carnage (2014) by Linda T — 26 May 2012
I thought 3 of the 4 adults did excellent jobs and that Kate Winslet just seemed wrong for the part. The young adults I know think it's hilarious and I understand what they were responding to. They're in the age group, 35-45, which this play is portraying.
Yes, I'm saying that, although Foster, Reilly, and Walz were excellent, they were a little long in the teeth for their parts. Onstage it wouldn't have been quite so jarring. I expected more from this movie.
