Review of Carnage (2014) by Leong C — 25 Jul 2012
Interesting play adaptation that pitches four acting heavy-weights into the same confined space. It struggles for fluidity though and some of the performances do get a bit stagey at times. It's occasionally funny and mostly tense, but ultimately it's not carnage, just a puffed up argument with a pompous title.
I didn't feel that it revealed anything new or particularly interesting about the human condition - and that did seem to be its intended hook.
