Review of Carnage (2011) by David H — 10 Aug 2012
I think this film purposely exaggerates when it depicts what starts off as awkward but civilised interaction between 2 couples (whose young sons were involved in a park fight) which then evolves into downright hostile interaction, so as to depict human tendency towards social hypocrisy.
Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and John C Reilly are outstanding. Set in US, directed by Polanski from overseas.
