Review of Carnage (1984) by Rhiannon P — 01 Jul 2012
Carnage, couldn't wait until this came out, I got it as a birthday gift, and wanted to see straight from the word go, plus its got great actors in this film kate winslet was amasing , Jodie foster, chris waltz and john c.
Rielly, I have never seen a film where basically adapted all in one room, this film portrays a fight gone wrong between two 11 year old kids where it ends up one kid hitting the other around the face with a stick resulting in injury, so the parents decide to talk about what the punishment should be, at first it goes all smoothly they are all up held citizens upper class, and job orientated, they go in and out of the house several times each time argueing and going back in to the house, they all start argueing more and more, there are tangdrums, crying , vomiting , phone calls, and all hell breaks loose.
You starts to see the cracks in each of the couples marriage and within the space of 2 hours both couples are drunk and emotional, it now becomes not about the kids as such but there own problem within the marriage.
I really enjoyed this film, thought it was genius on how it was scripted. Roman Polanski did a great job on directing this, he's very particular and thats what I like about this film, like alan and his phone, nancy and her bag, penny and her art books, and micheal well with the phone calls cigars, generally a nice guy, ? I would recommend this film.
