Review of Carlito's Way (1993) by Serina K — 01 Feb 2010
An excellent gangster movie with a strong plot, stellar script and solid acting. Pacino and Penn had surprising chemistry. All of the characters were well-designed, it was just such a powerful movie. All of those little monologues Pacino did gave really good insight into his character.
Definitely some of DePalma's and Pacino's greatest work.
