I had a hard time believing Pacino was Puerto Rican, or that that was really Sean Penn's hair, or that it was the 70s - it all felt manufactured...Pacino's accent, Penn's hair, and the fact that everyone was wearing or doing the most cliche 70s things possible - disco and cocaine.
