Review of Carlito's Way (1993) by Hubert S — 06 Jan 2011
A very good film. The way it's filmed is sheer fascinating and beautiful in a way. The story grows as the film progresses. Another film where Al Pacino shines and the screenplay seems to be centered around his excellent acting.
I would like to give this more than 4 stars but the "blonde" acting of Penelope Ann Miller brings it slightly down for me. She is no match for Al Pacino imho.
