Review of Carlito's Way (1993) by Jamie J — 23 May 2011
Pacino once again shines in the crime genre, albeit this time with a twist, playing a one time con trying to make it straight. These days that may seem quite conventional, but then most modern takes are only imitating the ending of Carlito's Way.
Stylish and powerful Carlito's way will hook you in to the take on seventies New York, just dont expect an easy ride throughout.
