Review of Carlito's Way (1993) by Brett H — 25 Jan 2013
An unconventional gangster film that shows the protagonist's struggles to get out of the life far more than I've seen before. I never once believed Al Pacino was Puerto Rican but you can easily get past that and he does fine work.
The climactic chase scene was suspenseful as hell, but I do wish the movie didn't start with a clip of the ending because I knew exactly where it was going.
