The movie tries to do something different with the zombie genre and it tries to execute an more emotional story rather than a bloody one. It mostly succeeds in making us care about his journey but there are some silly moments within the film and it can also feel really slow paced.
The movie could've cut at least 10-20 minutes from the runtime.
