Review of Cargo (2009) by Sofia T — 15 Jan 2012
I have a fondness for sci-fi that allows space to be totally silent, and I really liked how 'Cargo' managed to achieve such a desolate feeling around space travel. The film may contain a lot of sci-fi clichà (C)s, but it's so well made (despite its low budget) that it doesn't bring it down. Also, it's nice to see non-american fiction in this genre.
(Admittedly, I might be a bit biased when it comes to sci-fi.).
