Review of Care Bears: Big Wish Movie (2005) by Kevin R — 07 Jun 2015
Nothing goes with a good story like...popcorn...
Wish Bear feels neglected and unappreciated, so she uses her wish star to go around care-A-Lot granting everyone's wishes so they understand the value of her power. All the wishes almost kill her wishing star causing even Wish Bear to appreciate her powers more. Can the Care Bears save the wishing star and make Wishing Bear feel better?
"There's only one thing to do!".
"Road trip?".
"Picnic!".
Three directors collaborate to deliver Care Bears: Big Wish Movie. The storyline for this picture was just okay and doesn't deliver too many unexpected sequences but does have some lessons learned. The animation style is okay and the voices fit the characters well.
"I'm a Care Bear not a Scare Bear.".
We found these films on Netflix and decided to watch them together with my daughter. She even finds them okay and tunes in and out of each movie. There are some aspects of these films that are okay but they are on par with the My Little Pony pictures...nothing special. I only recommend seeing this if there are not better options available.
"There is even less caring now in Care-A-Lot.".
Grade: C-.
