Review of Caramel (2007) by David H — 30 Mar 2008
If "Lebanese Chick Flick" were a genre for American filmgoers, this one would be at the top of the list. While it is an attractive and somewhat poignant look at pieces of modern Beirut life and the stories of a group of women who work in and around a salon/day spa, the character portrayals and writing are uneven.
