A charming, gentle, frequently funny film featuring an engaging cast of mostly female characters working their way through a variety of personal problems. It's never remotely preachy, but it gives an insight into the sides of life in Beirut that don't feature in the news bulletins, and reminds you that areas associated with bombs and bloodshed are full of people just trying to get on with their lives.
