Review of Caramel (2007) by Andy V — 08 Feb 2009
Sweet but not sugary. Some might say not fluffy enough. I enjoyed watching the characters struggle within the framework of their society but only because there were plenty of smile, laughs and touching moments along the way.
Impessively, there was no mention of politics or conflict so, to outsiders it wasn't obviously a Beirut film.
