Review of Caramel (2007) by Gilson C — 21 Jun 2009
I love this film. Very brave, sad; but in sadness there can be beauty. It's honesty on some counts, is overwhelming. At times the story dipped; lost my interest a little. But overall, I see it as a very passionate, thought provoking film.
The music score is not too intrusive, but creates the perfect ambience; it is telling of certain things - but does not hinder the cinematic moment.
