Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Brad R — 31 Oct 2008
Even documentaries have a formulaic approach to their alleged matter-of-fact review of events etc. but this doco is very ambiguous and doesn't really move you one way or the other in favour of the director's bias.
It's an obvious way of showing the confusion surrounding the ordeal and deliberately leaves you unfulfilled so that you appreciate that some questions are better left unanswered or were unanswered in the process.
