Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Dwayne B — 06 Jan 2009
With access to a horde of home film/video, most of the family and prosecutors, both sides of the sodomy case against a well-off middle class teacher and his son are explored well, yet without bias and with plenty of ambiguity.
Watching the family fall apart is uncomfortable to say the least, but nicely done, the only thing I found was each 'revelation' in the story seemed a bit awkward and forced.
