Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Lindsay B — 20 Feb 2009
RADly, put together Documentary.....regardless of the disgusting subject matter that made me want to puke. The upbeat music is really whoa BUT it fits the odd antics of this family in crisis. After a teacher and one of his 3 sons become the headline news for abusing children during computer classes in their own basement.
. the family video tapes the aftermath of having the accused town-perv for a father/husband...which includes the perv father and his adult sons dancing in the living room? This movie is a really good case-study, for someone in school for psychology.
The perv's kids are so dissociated from reality..and basically turn their backs on the one person in the family trying to make sense of everything...
