Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Gopan M — 06 Mar 2004
[b][size=2][font=Comic Sans MS]Watched this one a couple of days ago. Pretty interesting documentary about a family turned upside-down by shocking revelations. Even though the film captures the Friedmans (mainly from home videos shot by those videophiles), you'll be no closer to knowing the complete truth behind what exactly happened. I felt myself swaying from "They have got to be guilty" to "What? No physical evidence?" - it offers a spectrum of possibilities. But ultimately, it's a tragic story about a broken family, constructed in a wicked way.
