Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Senh D — 28 Dec 2004
Watching Capuring the Friedmans was a heavy experience. The film did a good job of showing the controversy and unknowns in the case; in the end you really don't know if the crime was really commited or not.
What is clear though, was the tragedy that the family went through and how the family fractured and fell apart just by going through the process of defence. It also addresses some family members disturbed youth and throws a wrench in how you might percieve the father and son accused.
Sometimes the process of defending against an accusation will ruin individuals and families regardless if the crime was commited.
