#30 on AFI's all-time list, Sierra Madre is the story of men looking for gold in the desert. Bogart gives a great performance as Fred C Dobbs, a man who becomes paranoid his friends are out to steal his share.
It builds suspense very well but it loses steam when it hits the climax.
