Saw this movie last night on cable and found it to be really intriguing and got me hooked in. Actually only started watching it as the opening credits looked interesting. Even though the story was pretty basic and the plot predictable in the end, I guess it was really the whole atmosphere of the movie that got me in.

I liked how it was mostly done from the woman's point of view rather than the usual kidnapping movie where they show police looking for the victim, etc. I also likened the basement area that she was being held to that of the Silent Hill games .

.. had that same dark foreboding atmosphere but without the monsters.
