This is a film to watch when you are doing something else. Like background noise. It is cute. Family oriented and a bit funny. But not a classic. Entertaining. Martin Short was very irritating as the father who was really incompetent, in all aspects of his life.
I am surprised that Capt. Ron didn't also take away his wife from him during the trip. A classic hollywood film where fathers and men are made to look like idiots and incompetents. Almost a waste of time as a movie.
Not suitable for children because of the incompetent manner in which the father is constantly made to look.
