Pretty good movie!! Not sure it was worthy of all the Oscar praise, but entertaining enough. While I'm happy for his success, I'm not sure why this guy got the supporting actor nod (or won the BAFTA, for that matter).
Despite all the drama, I found myself muttering, "stupid pirates" on several occasions. Everyone but the lead pirate had the IQ of a pencil. Overall, pretty good, suspenseful & entertaining.
