Review of Captain Phillips (2013) by Jill H — 02 May 2014

Barkhad Abdi's performance is beautiful and strong that makes Tom Hanks weak in this movie. The story and the way it's been told is simple and having the settled structure of screenwriting. I think that was a good choice to use suspense instead of surprise for introducing the pirates and showing them that they are stealing the ships with basic facilities.

Over all, it's entertaining, exciting and sad.
