Review of Captain Phillips (2013) by Lee T — 18 May 2014

This film is awesome! It makes a great double bill with it's Oscar rival gravity as they are both films chronicling a short period of time where the main character is thrown into a terrible situation with the threat of death around every turn. Barkhad "I am the captain now' Ahbdi if fantastic and keeps his cool against Forest Gump. The FedEX Castaway himself is brilliant. His final scene involving a yellow shirt and a break down is brilliant.

Side note: I love the fact that (almost) the first line of the movie is "It's going to be Ok" and the last line is also that.
