Masterfully written by Billy Ray, Captain Phillips is a multi-layered examination of globalization. The greatest film of 2013 in my opinion. One of the greatest third acts I've ever seen in cinema.
Barkhad Abdi's first time performance and Paul Greengrass' direction are flawless. Not to mention, that Hanks delivers the best moments of his career in the third act of this film.
This one is not to be missed, by any means necessary.
