Review of Captain Phillips (2013) by Joey R — 05 Jul 2014
This film brings with it the intensity from United 93 and multiplied it by 2. Hanks delivers yet another Oscar worthy performance, and has undoubtedly locked in a nomination. Greengrass delivers the story in a way that even though you know the outcome, you can't help but wonder "does he make it? Does he make it?" That is what makes a great story and this will surely be a contender for upcoming awards.
