Review of Captain Phillips (2013) by Matt L — 12 Sep 2014
This was wonderfully acted and gorgeously shot, but honestly I found it a little boring for a thriller. Captain Phillips is clearly in the wrong in this movie and I felt most sympathetic to the pirates, which was done on purpose as they show a lot of the background to the somalians.
It was powerful stuff, just uneventful and a bit boring.
