Review of Captain Phillips (2013) by Maverick G — 13 Jul 2015

An intense thrill ride of a movie with an enthralling story with spectacular acting from everyone, from tom hanks and his crew to the pirates. The middle of the movie slows down but I didn't mind because I cared so much for the main character that I was at the edge of my seat during these slow moments.

Hanks did an excellent job throughout the movie, particularly in the final scene when he's in shock, which almost had me in tears, that's phenomenal acting.
