I actually love Captain Marvel (the character) and wanted to love this movie. But alas, I didn't. It's plot is disjointed, it's progress a snail's pace, and I think was the nail in the coffin for superhero movies for me.
I'm done, Marvel. Disney has killed Star Wars & Marvel with their political overtures.
