Review of Captain Fantastic (2016) by Carolina V — 12 Dec 2016
A bit slow at times but this unconventional family drama/road trip movie is heart warming and has an interesting argument on if survival in the Forrest is better for raising a family. I found the back and forth and how a compromise is made quite intriguing. While living in the woods may sharpen a lot of your skills because of better food and no distractions, but if you need serious medication, then good luck. A longer court battle would have been nice but the film takes a different path.
A great coming of age that should be seen by all.
