Review of Captain Fantastic (2016) by Jack W — 19 Oct 2016
This film made me feel stupid in the most ingenious way possible. With a likeable and relate-able family, with a near manson-esque/caveman vibe to, it rides the rollercoaster of emotional entanglement and hits the message home quick and fast.
Arago....I mean, Vigo Mortensen establishes the ground rules of home life and the relate-able struggles of the real world in a fun and impactful way, all while riding home the essence of family.
