Review of Captain Fantastic (2016) by Omar L — 09 Feb 2017
What's the point of being able to understand quantum mechanics and Constitutional interpretation if you don't interact with the society those subjects are meant to serve? In the end, it becomes all about a warped sense of moral superiority, which can lead to immorality.
There are shades of "Little Miss Sunshine" throughout this quirky movie about a family that can only be described as "left-wing extremists." Viggo Mortensen plays Ben Cash (an ironic surname to be sure) with a charm and severity of someone who you immediately want to impress.
