Review of Captain Fantastic (2016) by Ayrton Anthony C — 27 Dec 2016
Far-fetched, contradictory, and worst of all, completely predictable. They discuss how terrible organized religion is, but the mom is a devout Buddhist. They talk about how bad capitalism is, but Viggo's character has wads of cash, and buys expensive knives and compound bows.
They all use top of the line climbing equipment. They drive around in an old school bus that apparently repairs itself and runs on magic fuel. The kids love grandpa, but he's supposed to be the main antagonist.
The mom dies from an incurable disease, which turns out to be bipolar disorder. Star Wars: Episode I is more plausible and entertaining.
