Beautiful scenery, music is also great. Loved John Hurt as Dr. Iannis. Nicolas Cage as an Italian soldier is a bit strange, but I think he plays well. Penelope Cruz is strange in her accent. I definitly don't understand all those war movies where they speak English, while they should be speaking German, Greek, Italian (in this movie).
The story is a lovestory with (of course) a good ending. Just really nice to watch.
