Superb swashbuckler and a milestone among pirate movies, the film that launched Errol Flynn to stardom retains its greatness. It's hard not to be taken in by Flynn's screen presence and overall coolness, really, and the grand scenes are no less grand today.
If you are a fan of pirate films, this is a definite must-see.
