Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Trey C — 09 May 2015
Definitely the best film from the Marvel series thus far. I'd go as far as saying it's nearly the best superhero film ever made, short of only the Dark Knight. The action scenes are flawless, the comedy is there, the acting is solid, and the political aspect is what drives this movie past the rest.
The engaging story behind the fall of SHIELD and rise of Hydra as well as Rogers' struggle to be human make for an excellent film when you strip away the super powers. (93%).
