Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Arthur P — 28 May 2015
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" can be considered as one of the best action & adventure movies of 2014. Captain America surely continues to be the most gripping, thought-provoking Avenger of the group. The Russo Brothers could've taken home an Academy Award for the movie's amazing visual effects.
The chemistry between Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff is clearly not a forgettable aspect of the motion picture. The 95-year-old hero teams up with Black Widow to take down his old brainwashed friend. The relationship between the two agents seems to take a new turn. Scarlett enacts a street smart agent who Captain fortunately decides to trust. Marvel Studios picked the perfect actors to play those interesting roles. Chris Evans is able to efficiently show the very human side of the protagonist.
The fight scenes were brilliantly placed at unattended parts of the plot and surpass the sloppy effects of "The First Avenger (2011)". However, the film presented a lot of chivalry, which changed my vision of the superhero's real power.
