Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Robert M — 07 Jul 2015

In many ways, this was profoundly better than the first one. The first film captured more of the origins of how the very first avenger came to be, while this one faced a more groundbreaking and epic story.

This one had great action for a Marvel film that wasn't one of the Avengers films, and it was also a fine conclusion before the entire Avengers squad got together again for some of the final parts of Phase 2.

This was also a big film in the Marvel series for Nick Fury and the Black Widow. Overall, maybe not quite as good as most people I knew said it was, but it was easily better in a good amount of ways as it's previous.

Marvel Studios never fails to disappoint, especially if you're a fan.
