Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Jc E — 14 Jul 2015

Can any film get more exciting than this. The rescue mission in the the first fifteen minutes left be breathless with excitement. In a world increasingly crowded with Marvel and DC superheroes, it takes more than superhuman strength and invincibility to win the popularity contest with me.

For me Captain America is the most appealing because of his self-effacing, dead pan humour, and unegoistic nature. Just these qualities would rule out most of the superheroes out there with Ironman being the worst offender.

Most of all, one cannot help loving Captain America because of his sweet boyish goodness who would stand by his best friend to the end even when he turned into your deadliest enemy. Any superhero is as good as his deadly enemy is as bad.

Bucky Barnes, his best friend, turned out to be the formidable and deadly winter soldier that would be his most challenging enemy. Not because the winter solider has invincible powers but because Bucky Barnes was Steve Rogers best friend.

Steve Rogers will stand by his best friend until the end.
