Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Saitou Y — 14 Oct 2015

The Russo brothers managed to overturn the concept of one of the least fascinating hero in the MCU and forge it into an over-the-top espionage thriller. 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is commendable for everything--smart premise, compelling villain, exhilarating action sequences, and impeccable character development.

It gave SHIELD's most interesting double agent enough badass screen time and introduce new edition characters to the MCU, namely falcon and the Winter Soldier. So far, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is the most suspenseful and intense installment of Marvel's phase two considering its cohesiveness with other tie-in films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
