Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Jake Z — 27 Oct 2015
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the few Marvel Comic films that legit surprised me. Not because of anything storywise, but in what a near-great action thriller it is. Evans and Johansson are spot on and their chemistry is endlessly enjoyable.
The action sequences have genuine weight, suspense, and thrills. I haven't even seen the first Captain America, but this one was a genuinely thrilling good time.
