Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Jason C — 26 Jan 2016

Perhaps this is less of the 70s political conspiracy thriller than the directors' interviews would lead you to believe but this is also far more than a collection of CGI in search of a fight scene - this is coherently constructed stuff, even with the limitations of being part of a wider (Marvel) universe.

Evans plays the Captain admirably as a man out of his own time and the supporting cast is very strong.
