Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Sean D — 02 May 2016

I almost feel like the current Marvel universe's can do no wrong. Just making one smash hit after another, still waiting for DC to take their ball and score some hoops in a row. The 2nd outing of Captain America was amazing just like the first, but just better. With less than 48 hours until I see the 3rd, this was a big deal. I had to get this film over with, and late is better than never and the film is gonna be fresher in my head than anybody else's.

Scarlett Johansson has possibly never looked better. Simply gorgeous in this film and the straight hair at that length was the look. The on-screen time was great. Natasha and Steve's dialogue was on-point, I think everybody was led to believe that they were going to be in a relationship. The action scenes, varied throughout the film were well done, not too long or not too short.

The cohesion between the new and the old characters was simply fantastic. Everyone's acting, amazing. The action, amazing. Music, stellar. Another hilarious cameo by the legend himself, Stan Lee. Beautiful, well done, film. One of the best ever in the Marvel universe, if not the best to this date. Fantastic. A must watch at all costs!
