Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Don S — 21 Aug 2016

I enjoyed this quite bit but found it utterly predictable. From the "death" of a major character to the revelation of the man who is the Winter Soldier. Loads of action - much of it unbelievable.

Good thing these characters are charismatic and likable or this could have gone bad quickly. We get a taste of the Falcon, but don't really delve too deeply into the character. Black Widow is kick-ass as always.

Decent acting and above average effects. Throwing in Robert Redford is always a good idea. Good movie but felt mostly like a set-up for Civil War, which I have yet to see.
